A woman charged with stealing cheques worth more than €100,000 has been remanded on bail at Mullingar District Court.
A book of evidence is to be prepared for the Circuit Court in the case of Geraldine O’Farrell, 6 The Downs, Lakepoint, Mullingar, who is alleged to have taken €116,826.92 in cheques from Lakepoint Security.
The thefts, prosecuted by Garda Joseph Kenny, took place between September 12 2005 and May 19 of last year.
O’Farrell will appear in court on October 28.
