Every year in Ireland, nearly 2,500 women are diagnosed with breast cancer - we all directly or indirectly know someone affected by it. The Prince Bar and Karma Club, Athlone are combining their efforts to raise money on Friday October 8 for Pink Ribbon Day.
The Prince Bar is having a Think Pink Party in aid of breast cancer with proceeds going to charity for Action Breast Cancer. There will be special Pink Ribbon champagne cocktails, pink cupcakes on sale (throughout the day ), pink champagne available at special price, and of course a nail technician on hand for the night for the all important pink polish! There will be a DJ, late bar, and a raffle on the night to win some great prizes - clothes, cocktail lessons, lingerie, DVDs, and lots more.
Karma is also supporting the event with admission being the normal €8 on a Friday night and proceeds from the door are going to charity.
