A mother of two has been fined for threatening behaviour following an incident at a Mullingar night club.
Sive Bardon of 107 Ardleigh Vale had been ejected from the night club on Oliver Plunkett Street in the early hours of August 27 Mullingar District Court heard recently.
She was shouting at staff and aggressive and abusive to others when gardaí came on the scene and she was arrested.
The 29-year-old has three previous convictions, including two for assault.
Mr Robert Marren said that she has not been in trouble since her previous difficulties a number of years ago.
On the night she had received tragic news about a friend and had too much to drink. She didn’t really recall the incident. She had been drinking at home earlier and then went out with friends but they were not all allowed into the night club.
Mr Marren said Bardon has tried to stay out of trouble since.
Legal aid was granted and Judge John Lindsay fined Bardon €100 for threatening behaviour and took a charge of public drunkenness into consideration.
