Four men have appeared at Mullingar District Court recently in relation to a long running family feud in the town.
Each now faces a new charge of criminal damage following an incident where all of the men are charged with threatening behaviour.
The men are charged with damaging a Kuga jeep belonging to Brigid Joyce and a Ford Transit van, the property of Patrick Joyce.
Edward Myers (22 ) of 50 Grange Crescent was ordered to take his hands out of his pockets when details of the new criminal damage charge against him were heard.
While the judge was dealing with him, he had to order his brother Patrick to sit in the custody area of the courtroom and threatened three other men with a week in jail for talking persistently.
When Patrick Myers (26 ) 50 Farran, Ashe Road was called, he was ordered to put down and not pick up again a bottle he was carrying.
Michael Myers of 34 Grange Crescent had his curfew moved out to 10.30pm to allow the 24-year-old attend soccer practice.
Martin Nevin (21 ) of 40 Springlawn, Longford was the last of the men to be charged in relation to the incident and all four had their case adjourned to November 4.
