Calling all fashionistas, a pre-loved clothing sale is taking place once a month in Bed, Mullingar starting Monday September 27 from 7pm-9pm.
Speaking ahead of the first sale, Kim O’Callaghan, one of the organisers explained how the concept came about. “We all have items in our wardrobes that we purchased and either never wore or wore once and for different reasons will not wear them again but we feel they are too good to discard and that they really deserve a good home.”
Closet Secrets is the brainchild of Kim O’Callaghan and Carmen Lovely, and they feel they have come up with a novel way to turn your hidden little gems into cash.
“On Monday September 27 we will kick-start the first of our monthly Closet Secret evenings in Bed Mullingar from 7pm-9pm, and we are calling on all you fashionistas out there to join us for this fun-filled fashion evening,” said Kim.
At each event 10 different people will get the opportunity to take a rail and exhibit their closet secrets, which they wish to sell this can be anything from clothes to shoes to handbags, etc. “We will provide rails and hangers but the individual sellers will be responsible for pricing their own items and whatever money they make is theirs to keep,” she added.
Everyone is welcome to this free and fun girly night, whether you just want to browse, buy, or exhibit. Each exhibitor will be selling their closet secrets at a fraction of the original selling price so this is a fantastic opportunity to pick up some closet bargains.
