Bloomfield House Hotel nominated for prestigious award

Bloomfield House Hotel received news this week that it has been selected as a finalist for a major national hospitality award. Bloomfield House has been nominated as a finalist in the prestigious National Hotel and Catering Gold Medal Awards, which recognise and reward excellence within the Irish hotel and catering industry.

Anonymous gold medal jury members visited the hotel and evaluated every aspect of their stay from their reservation right through to their departure. The nomination puts the hotel in the top tier of hotel and catering operators in its category in Ireland.

“The nomination is testament to the hard work and dedication of the whole team at Bloomfield House,” says Oliver Gaffey, sales and marketing manager of Bloomfield House.

The directors of Bloomfield House continue to invest in the property to ensure the highest standards. The hotel have recently upgraded and installed lighting on the lakeshore walks and refurbished the restaurant, Ennell and Belvedere function rooms. The leisure club has also received a makeover along with a mosaic tiled steam room with subtle lighting. The spa and laser clinic is currently being refurbished to create an even more relaxing ambience.

The winner of the Gold Medal awards will be announced at a gala awards ceremony in the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin, on September 20.
