If you’re looking for some atmospheric acoustic indie folk, then get yourself to The Stables on Thursday September 16 for a free gig with Dutch band Goodwin Sands and some special guests.
Formed in 2009 the four band members draw from wide and interesting musical styles and influences.
After a successful first trip to Ireland in October 2009, the first CD Builders & Artists was recorded at the tail end of the same year. This featured four songs and has seen the band travel inside and outside of the Netherlands in the first half of 2010, including a first UK tour.
In July 2010 the band recorded their second CD in Antwerpen, Belgium. Time well spent features six new songs and will be released to coincide with a heavy touring schedule this autumn. This includes a free gig in The Stables, Mullingar on Thursday September 16.
