NUI Galway Alumni Association will hold its inaugural golf outing in Mullingar Golf Club on Friday September 17.
The singles Stableford competition for men and women is open to all NUI Galway / UCG graduates and guests, with or without a handicap.
According to alumnus Hugh McGonigle, co-organiser of the event: “We hope to make the alumni golf outing an annual fixture on All-Ireland football final weekend. It's an ideal opportunity to renew college acquaintances and meet up with other NUI Galway graduates. Plus, it's great value and a chance to try out the Mullingar course this year.”
Entry for the event is €55 and includes green fees and dinner that evening. It also includes optional entry to the Mullingar Golf Club four-person team classic.
