The official opening of the Mullingar Western Relief Road and Bridge Scheme will take place next Monday September 6, at 12pm.
The scheme will be officially opened by Minister for Transport Noel Dempsey and Cathoirleach of Westmeath County Council Michael Dollard.
The final phase of the Mullingar Western Relief Road comprises the Clonmore Bridge Scheme, which is named in memory of the late Joe Dolan. This is the last section of the Mullingar Western Relief Road, linking the Clonmore Business Park to the Lynn Roundabout on the Tullamore Road, Mullingar. This final link also successfully completes the Mullingar Orbital Road which was commenced by Westmeath County Council 18 years ago.
