Brioche Café opens doors with French-style coffee and deli

Brioche Café and Deli, a classic French coffee house and deli specialising in cured meats and mature cheese and of course a full breakfast menu and lunch deli counter, opened its doors to the awaiting public last Friday.

Brioche Cafè, situated on Mullingar’s Mount Street, has created a contemporary deli, unique to Mullingar. Brioche has restored well-known kitchen fayre to its full potential, providing the customers of Mullingar with a relaxing and refreshing environment. The simple interior has been brought to life with fantastic artwork from Mullingar’s Brosna Art Group, which is all for sale in the café itself.

“We wanted to create somewhere that the public felt comfortable and relaxed – a homely experience with good food and great coffee,” says Victor Claffey, proprietor, who opened the café on Friday.

“Every morning we bake our own fresh breads including the infamous sweet French bread, brioche, which are all sold directly to the public.”

Also on the shelves are home-made tarts and desserts, perfect for those with a little sweet tooth. Unique to Brioche Café is its specialist deli meats counter, which includes parma ham, pastrami, pancetta, black pepper salami, chorizo sausage, and a selection of mature cheeses. Whether it is for takeaway or sit down, customers can choose from readymade ciabattas and paninis or can simply adapt any sandwich or lunch special to suit their own tastes.

Brioche Café is perfect for those who are just looking for something different. Whether it is just for a quick coffee and cake or a lunchtime feast, Brioche has something to offer any taste.

Experience the taste of France in the heart of Mullingar, Monday to Saturday from 8am!
