This weekend at the Auld Shebeen, Moate there is something for everyone as they celebrate the Flower Festival in conjunction with St Mary’s Church of Ireland, Moate which takes place from Friday July 9 to Sunday July 11.
On Friday July 9 the Auld Shebeen will host a fantastic barbecue night in the bar at 9.30pm. Tickets are €10 so phone now and book your table.
The festival activities continue on Saturday July 10 with the outstanding Rory McDonald live in the front bar. Catch the best one man band in Ireland from 9.30pm. This is followed by Club S Discotheque where you could win a place in their Best Dressed Lady competition with over €1,000 prize fund in association with Swamp, Athlone; Joli Midland Modelling Agency; and Temple Spa, Moate. Entry into Club S is €5 before 1am on the night.
Finish off your weekend with Sunday Night Live: Starman live in the Auld Shebeen at 10pm. This five-piece Cavan-based band is set to bring the house down with their rock/pop covers. It is their first appearance in the Midlands and is sure to be a great show that simply cannot be missed.
