A year after a devastating fire burned Wines Direct's original business premises at Ashe Road, Mullingar, Ireland's leading wine merchant and supplier has moved to a new location at Lough Sheever Corporate Park in the town.
The new premises occupies a floor space of 1,700 square feet, and stocks hundreds of quality wines all directly sourced personally by Paddy Keogh of Wines Direct. Each wine is made by small, independent, family-run wineries from all over the world.
Commenting on the opening of the wine shop at its new permanent location, Wines Direct Managing Director, Paddy Keogh said, “We are delighted to move to our new bigger and better state-of-the-art premises after all the challenges of a year ago. With our new wine shop, we now have the space we always wanted to showcase the wines carefully selected for our customers' enjoyment in an attractive way, and in surroundings that make browsing and shopping for wine a pleasurable experience”.
“With our new wide range of wines we have something for everyone, from easy drinking wine in the €10 to €15 range to fine wines, suitable for any special occasion. Every day we have a number of wines open for tasting and our shop team, who have a depth of knowledge about wine, are always on hand to help customers make a selection they will enjoy,” he added. The Wines Direct shop at 49 Lough Sheever Corporate Park, Mullingar, opens Monday to Friday from 11am to 7pm and Saturday from 11am to 6pm.
