Unsecured child seat leads to fine

A Mullingar woman who had her small child unsecured in the back of her car has been fined €100.

Mother of three Brigid Nevin was stopped on the afternoon of December 7 last year with a child in the rear of her car who was not secured to the child seat and the child seat was not secured to the car.

The court heard that Ms Nevin, who lives at 124 Raithín, Ashe Road had learned her lesson. Her husband is currently serving a sentence.
