Crimson to launch debut album

Local four-piece, Crimson will officially launch their album Untamed Underground Unwell on Saturday June 19 in The Stables, Mullingar.

After many years of paying tribute to their heroes as a covers group, Crimson left the covers circuit and began writing their own material. Supporting many bands, Crimson's fan base is rapidly growing throughout the country.

Crimson finally got around to releasing their brilliant debut album Untamed Underground Unwell. “It’s not often that a band will surprise me. It’s a rarity when I don’t truly enjoy myself at a gig, the energy of live music is always enough to turn anyone’s bad mood around. Fergal O’Rourke...lead singer and rhythm guitarist for Crimson, plays with such a degree of comfort and relaxation behind the mic. Having played around Ireland for over a decade, they are now coming close to releasing their debut album. Look out for their next gig, you won’t be disappointed,” says Kim Lightholder (Lightgholder Music Photography ).

Special guests on the night will include Dylan and the Deadbeats, P45, and Anorexercist plus a DJ until late.
