Enjoy Life this weekend

The Life Festival to be held in Belvedere House in June has gotten the go ahead from the District Court after Judge John Neilan granted the organizers the occasional licence for the event.

The music festival, which is to take place on June 4, 5, and 6 has a licence to sell alcohol between noon and 10pm each day.

The court heard that the initial application was for a licence until 1am but following negotiations with gardaí, this was amended.

Inspector Jarlath Folan said the organisers had taken on board Garda concerns and all issues had been finalized.

A list of security staff has been provided to gardaí and the inspector said they were satisfied that none had a criminal record.
