Mullingar ladies host a girls night charity fundraiser

Mullingar lady Karen Bull is hosting a Girls Night In on Saturday May 8, supporting Liz Bull and Louise Gaynor’s Flora Mini Marathon fundraising efforts for Muscular Dystrophy Ireland.

The girls have invited their close friends to enjoy an evening of hair and beauty demonstrations by Carla McManus and Sue Wilkinson. The guests have the opportunity to learn useful and easy to replicate hair and beauty tips, enjoy some fun-filled party games, good food and sparkling wine and, of course, find out more information about Muscular Dystrophy. Appointments will be available on the night with Sue and Carla for upstyles, GHD curls, eye make-up, fake eyelashes, eyebrow shaping, etc, giving the guests a chance to get dolled up.

“Proceeds from the evening will be used towards the provision of Respite Support Services which MDI strives to provide to 554 members nationwide. The respite service provides a break for both carers and members: it is short term care that helps a family avail of a break from the daily routine and stress,” said Mullingar native Liz.

MDI aims to provide short term respite for members with muscular dystrophy and their families when required in order to maintain physical and emotional well-being.
