With less than three weeks remaining until St Patrick’s Day the parade committee would like to remind everyone that float entries for the parade must be submitted by March 1. All participants are encourged to be as creative and imaginative as possible in designing and constructing their floats/entries. Don’t forget the theme for this year’s parade is The Environment.
The 4 Fd Arty Regt will host a table quiz in aid of the 2010 St Patrick’s Day Parade on Tuesday March 9 in the NCO Mess, Columb Barracks Mullingar. A table of four people is €40 and the master of ceremonies is BQMS Peter McKenna (Rtd ). The quiz will start at 9pm sharp, so come along to support your St Patrick’s Day parade and have a good time while you do.
The committee would like to thank everyone who attended/supported last week’s fundraising events which included a junior disco, a youth disco, and a late night gig in Danny Byrnes. The events were a great success and enjoyed by all.
