A man has been warned not to drink and drive while his disqualification is postponed to April to allow him complete a work contract.
Ali Powell of 4 Kinsbury, Kinnegad was drunk at the wheel of a car at the car park of the community centre in Kinnegad at 10.55pm on September 25 this year.
The 35-year-old had 71mg alcohol/100ml breath when tested at Mullingar Garda Station.
Ms Aine Sheehan said the 35-year-old father of three is a fabricator and the driving ban would have serious consequences for him.
He was fined €300 and disqualified for three years.
