Christmas will officially kick off in Mullingar next Thursday November 26 with the switching on of the Christmas lights in the town.
Santa Claus will be on hand to greet the children and make sure everything runs smoothly in Market Square at 4.30pm, when the Christmas tree lights will be switched on and the town’s Christmas festivities begin.
DJ Declan Cleary will provide the Christmas tunes in Market Square, at what promises to be a fun-filled family event.
The lights will also be turned on at the Remembrance Tree at Dominick Place, which has been organised by members of the North Westmeath Hospice and the Mullingar Rotary Club.
Come along and join in the fun as Mullingar celebrates the official start of the Christmas season.
