wo curvaceous Westmeath ladies, Nicola Beaumont and Andrea Breslin, are representing their county at the final of Simply Be Curvy 2010 in Dublin on Saturday, October 31.
Selected from thousands of entries, Nicola from Hillquarter, Coosan, Athlone and Andrea from Ballinderry, Mullingar will now compete with 14 other contestants to become the 2010 cover girl for SimplyBe.ie at the final. SimplyBe.ie launched their search to find Ireland’s most curvaceous woman, ‘Simply Be Curvy’ in May, looking for women size 14 and over who love and celebrate their curves to enter. After three regional heats and from the thousands of entries, 16 finalists have been selected.
A panel of celebrity judges including Alan Hughes, Bairbre Power, and Siobhan O’Connor will choose one lucky winner from the 16 finalists. Stylist to the stars, Gok Wan, will be present on the day and will be chairing the celebrity judging panel.
The finalists will have one-to-one interviews with the judges, followed by a fashion show where the finalists will take to the catwalk to model SimplyBe.ie’s autumn/ winter range 2009. Each of the girls will be trained by Ireland’s top model agent and former model Celia Holman Lee.
The lucky winner will become an instant cover girl, gracing the cover of the SimplyBe.ie spring/ summer 2010 catalogue. She will also win €1,000 worth of SimplyBe.ie clothing and accessories, a holiday to the value of €1,000 plus €500 spending money, and a modelling contract with one of Ireland’s top modelling agents.
