A Westmeath man has admitted to multiple charges of raping a woman in the county seven years ago.
The 42-year-old man, pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court to nine charges of raping the victim on dates between May 1, 2002 and May 31, 2006.
Mr Justice Paul Carney registered him as a sex offender and adjourned sentencing to next month.
