This weekend, Friday October 10 and Saturday October 11 sees one of the most talked-about designer fashion sales take place in the Radisson Hotel, Athlone - the Make Me An Offer extravaganza.
All boutiques involved in this massive event have offered to donate one euro from each item sold over the two days to breast cancer charities. Boutiques taking part from Galway, Roscommon, Kildare, Mullingar, Dublin, Dundalk, Athlone, and Limerick all kindly offered to make this donation.
Organisers are also asking those attending if they would kindly make a minimum donation of one euro as an entrance fee which will also go to breast cancer.
Maureen O’Halloran, Anu Image Consultants, Shopin.ie, and event organiser said, "In recession times it is always the charities that suffer the most and I feel that if I am doing events where I am in a position to raise funds through other areas like the Make Me An Offer Designer fashion wholesale events then I will do it.
“As this is Breast Cancer month it is only appropriate that we should play our part and raise as much as possible. All the boutiques have kindly offered this one euro from the sale of each item which I feel is a beautiful gesture on their part.”
On top of all that the Face of Ireland contestants from Athlone, Mullingar, Roscommon, Galway, Kildare, and other counties have kindly offered to come on board to support the designer fashion wholesale events by putting on a fashion show for all the women attending.
John Compton, Compton Model Agency, along with beauty consultant, and model Lisa Murphy, will also be on hand to support this fantastic event.
The Make Me An Offer designer wholesale fashion event will run from 10am to 7pm on Saturday and from 12pm to 7pm on Sunday.
