A public speaking workshop organised by the Mullingar branch of Toastmasters will be held in October. The workshop will take place on Thursday October 9 at 8.30pm in the Greville Arms Hotel.
The world renowned and award winning trainer Simon Bucknall will host the workshop on the craft of public speaking.
There will be something for everyone, from the novice preparing for a best man speech or work presentation through to individuals who stand in front of an audience every day for a living.
Attendees at the workshop will pick up the tips and techniques that helped propel Simon to four national and international public speaking titles.
Commenting on the event Jon Woodford said, “Mullingar Toastmasters are delighted to have the opportunity to organise the event. It is a real coup for us to get a trainer of Simon’s standard and we really want to open the workshop up to the people of Mullingar and the Midlands, members and non members, so they can all benefit from his expertise. The charge on the night will only be €5. Where else would you get that experience for €5, Simon will help you overcome the number one social phobia and we even throw in a cup of tea and a biscuit.”
