As part of the Discover Mullingar Day on September 27 the Mullingar Chamber is launching a competition for the best window display. The competition is open to all businesses whether pubs, shops, general businesses or private houses in the town.
The theme is of course Mullingar, and can be as varied as you like as this day is all about Mullingar and encouraging the local community to get active locally. So if you want to make a model of the Cathedral out of boxes, or have the Children of Lir painted on your windows, it’s totally up to you.
The prize for the winning window display has been kindly sponsored by Adrian Moran at Dalys Bar, Mullingar’s newest live music venue, with live music every Friday and Sunday nights, and Midlands 103 broadcasting live from the bar every Saturday night with DJ Cas.
Mullingar Chamber is asking all entrants that window displays be completed by Friday September 25 to accommodate judging. The winners will be announced on Monday September 28.
