A run and swim will take place at Lough Ennell on Sunday August 23 at 12pm in aid of the North Westmeath Hospice and Console.
The novel race allows participants to bring their dogs along for the 8.5km race around Lough Ennell; alternatively you can swim 2km across the lake with the ducks!
Event day registration is from 9am to 10.30am at Belvedere House, with pre-registration required for swimmers as there is a limit of 70 people. Competitors will then be transported to Ladestown for the race. Entry is €25 per person.
