Two top electronic pop acts have been added to the line up for the Castlepalooza festival at Charleville Castle, Tullamore, this August bank holiday weekend.
Dublin-based electronic pop act Dark Room Notes, who released their debut album We Love You Dark Matter earlier this year, will take to the stage at Castlepalooza on Saturday August 1.
Combining the binary rhythms of electro-rock with pop culture lyrics, Dark Room Notes are a dark, skittish persona, a tight four piece with a stylish hypnotic presence. Bucking many trends, they have evolved since their debut outings to present a collection of intelligent and interesting electro tracks on We Love You Dark Matter.
Also heating up the stage at this year’s Castlepalooza with some heavy electro rock beats is Le Galaxie!
Le Galaxie recently released their debut EP, Transworld. They have built their reputation on their increasingly chaotic live performances. Creating high-energy explosions on each and every stage they invade, the band relishes the opportunity to perform live.
Le Galaxie will be bringing just that to Castlepalooza on Sunday August 2.
