Castledaly Tidy Towns committee will host a cake sale and coffee morning on Sunday, June 9, from 10.30am to 12.30pm in the old schoolhouse/community centre.
“In recent weeks the old schoolhouse has been repainted and new seats installed at the Gate Lodge. Our volunteers have also been busy preparing summer planting and bedding, endeavoring to have the village and its environs looking it’s best.
“We have decided to host this event as a celebration of the works completed to date and as a fundraiser to help maintain the area going forward. We are asking for all in the community to please come and support this event.
“We look forward to seeing you all in Castledaly on June 9 for a chat,” the chairperson said.
