Luan Gallery was the intimate riverside venue for the SA LÁR Westmeath Artists Awards talk which took place on Saturday afternoon last.
This conversation between Carmel Duffy, Luan Gallery Manager and Miriam Mulrennan, Westmeath Arts Officer, was aimed at professional and practising artists living in or from Westmeath and offered the perfect opportunity for those in attendance to learn more about the Westmeath Artists’ Awards scheme.
Artists were welcome to ask questions about the awards and open call process, and feedback was given on how the award might develop in the future.
It was then followed by a conversation between the winner of the Westmeath Artists Award 2023, Fiona Kelly, and Aoife Banks, Curator, Luan Gallery.
