We would like to take this opportunity to say Happy Christmas to all our members, visitors and sponsors. We really do appreciate your support.

Competitions

Turkey competitions are now concluded with Christmas Hampers now the prize of choice for all club golfers until December 31.

Seery's Cash & Carry Winter League

Team 8, Mike Hiney, had a 59pt lead but that has been reduced to 34pts as Team 22, Michael O’Leary, gained a bit this week. Team 13, Sean Bohan, slip to third just a point behind that with Team 6, Andy Dunne, on 486pts and Team 14, Brian Costello, creeping into the top five places on 472pts. Ciaran Kerrigan may have hit a massive score in Mullingar this weekend but he took his eye off Team 12 and they fall seven places to 20th overall. Heading in the other direction is Team 25 Willie Colgan who are up six places to 17th.

Course Corner

With the cold and wet conditions continuing it is more important than ever to take care of the course. Please continue to take your sand bags for repairing divots and a pitch mark repairer for the greens. Also it would be great if you can sprinkle the available sand and seed on the temporary tee boxes. Finally please remove your footprints from the bunkers.
