The Community Monuments Fund is prioritised for private owners and custodians and community groups for the care, conservation, maintenance, protection and promotion of archaeological monuments.

The Community Monuments Fund has three streams. Stream one is aimed at essential repairs and capital works for the conservation of archaeological monuments. Stream two is for development of conservation management plans/reports and detailed specification of works aimed at identifying measures for conservation of archaeological monuments and improving public access.

The third and final Stream is for enhancement of access infrastructure and interpretation (including virtual/online ), and small scale emergency conservation works at archaeological monuments.

All applications shall be marked ‘Community Monuments Fund 2024’ and submitted by email to [email protected] before 5pm on Sunday, February 4 2024.
