A Linkedin poll, conducted by Athlone Chamber of Commerce, seeking the opinions of its members and the broader business community on Budget 2024, has indicated strong support for the financial measures announced by the coalition Government.
The poll detailed 68% of respondents expressing a favourable view, while 32% expressed reservations with regard to Budget 2024.
In addition to the LinkedIn poll, Athlone Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with RBK and AIB, hosted a highly informative Budget Briefing Breakfast in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel on Wednesday, October 11, providing a platform for members and local business leaders to gain a deeper understanding of Budget 2024.
Attendees of the breakfast briefing were treated to an insightful morning, with expert presentations from Michael Scanlan of RBK and Oliver Mangan of AIB. The discussions helped shed light on the budget’s implications for businesses in Athlone and the Irish economy as a whole.
