A new fully-electric SUV from BYD (Build Your Dreams ) is next month being introduced to customers in Europe for the first time, and is due to arrive here in Ireland early next year.
Imported into Ireland by Motor Distributers Limited (MDL ), the new Seal U will soon join BYD’s electric SUV lineup here, following the recent launch of the Atto 3 into the Irish market.
The Seal U (U standing for utility ) is a D-segment SUV which is said by the Chinese manufacturer to offer exceptional versatility and value with a high specification as standard.
Coming in two trim-levels, the ‘Comfort’ offers a 71.8 kW BYD Blade Battery with a promised range of 420km (WLTP ) – the same as the Atto 3. The ‘Design’ version is mounted with an 87 kWh Blade Battery with a claimed range of 500km (WLTP ).
Pricing and full spec for the BYD Seal U will be announced closer to launch.
