Athlone Musical Society will host auditions for its 2024 production, 'Urinetown' on Sunday, October 1.
To take place in the Dean Crowe Theatre from 12pm, those intending to audition for the show must register in advance on the Athlone Musical Society facebook page.
A brilliant satire modelled off the plays of Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht, Urinetown is a wickedly funny, fast-paced, and surprisingly intelligent comedic romp!
'Urinetown' will grace the Dean Crowe Theatre stage from March 1-9 2024 with no performances on March 4 and 5.
Production Team Confirmed
The Society has confirmed the creative team behind their 2024 production of Urinetown.
Renowned member of the Society, Alfie Kilduff, is returning as director of the show, Ger Madden will continue in his role of music director, while Jay Molyneux will be choreographer in residence, the trio working in unison to ensure Athlone and Midlands region musical enthusiasts are suitably entertained when the show goes live in March 2024.
