Commencing at 7.30pm on Wednesday, September 6, at Abbey Road Artists’ Studio, Athlone Photography Club will host a busy schedule of talks, walks and model shooting guaranteed to attract new members as the club celebrates their 10th anniversary.
There are many exciting opportunities for new and existing members, an introductory course for beginners commencing in early September and planned landscape excursions to take place the end of each month where amateur photographers will be paired off with more seasoned professionals to improve their skills in a relaxed environment.
There are a variety of topics planned throughout the year including an autumn model shoot on September 24 which will also have a focus on the much-loved Halloween themed photo shoot.
Throughout the year, you can enjoy opportunities to improve your photography in an encouraging environment with tips and talks on landscape, portrait, creative, sport and macro photography.
There are also club challenges and national competitions to enter so you will not want to miss out on the variety of discussions and learning opportunities planned for the new season ahead, as Athlone Photography Club celebrates 10 years of creating photographic memories!
