Southern Gaels 5-11 Fr. Daltons 2-13

Southern Gaels emerged victorious in this Division 2 semi-final and will now face Cullion/Delvin in the final in early September.

The home side were slow to start as the Ballymore side scored 1-2 in the opening five minutes. However, Gaels focused on the task at hand and scored 2-5 without reply to take a lead they were not to relinquish.

However, the home side held out for a worthy victory with Sean O’Neill scoring the final point. Sean O’Donoghue, Dara Shortall and Matthew also gave valuable performances.
