Westmeath County Council launches affordable housing scheme in Moate

Westmeath County Council has launched an ‘Affordable Purchase Scheme’ at Gort an Locha, Lake Road in Moate.

A total of 22 new homes, consisting of three and four bedrooms are being made available for sale under the Affordable Dwelling Purchase Arrangements in accordance with the Affordable Legislation.

The properties are open to first time buyers or those who qualify under the ‘Fresh Start Principle’ and applications will be assessed in line with the Westmeath County Council Scheme of Priority, the online application system commencing on Wednesday, July 26, at 12pm

In advance of this it is recommended that interested purchasers familiarise themselves with the application process and required documentation, in particular a copy of your mortgage approval in principle. A deposit of 10 percent of the purchase price of the property will be required.
