A season to remember for Temple Villa culminated in DPD Park on Saturday evening when the Mount Temple based club claimed the CCFL Division 2 Cup, complementing their Division 2 league success achieved to much celebration the previous weekend.

Goals from Anthony Allen (3 ), Jay Hyland and Sean O’Neill (1 ) ensured the double winners saw off the challenge of Banagher United at the home of Willow Park in a cup final which saw eight goals on a pristinely prepared surfaced of which the hosts can be immensely proud.

Undefeated in their league campaign with nine wins from 12 games played, Temple Villa will now play their football in CCFL Division 1 in the 2023/24, the experience of pivotal team members Damien Rushe and Benny Magennis a welcome addition to a playing squad with a positive future to come.
