Athlone Musical Society will proudly present their production of Chess on the Dean Crowe Theatre stage in March 2023.
The cast are already in full swing with rehearsals for the Society’s annual production and a return to Spring dates on the Dean Crowe Theatre stage.
The story involves a politically driven Cold War – era Chess tournament between two grandmasters, one American and the other Soviet, and of course there’s always a little bit of romance. Their fight over a woman who manages one and falls in love with the other.
Performance Times
Athlone Musical Society will host seven performance of Chess, confirmed dates being, Friday, March 3 at 8pm; Saturday March 4 at 8pm; Sunday March 5 at 5pm; Wednesday, March 8 at 8pm; Thursday, March 9 at 8pm, Friday, March 10 at 8pm and Saturday, March 11 at 8pm.
