Mullingar District Court rose briefly when a woman facing charges of sending threatening messages to two other females collapsed.
Medical attention was sought for the Westmeath woman who is alleged to have left messages which were “grossly offensive and menacing”.
When she recovered, her case was adjourned and she was remanded in continuing custody where Judge Neilan ordered that she be assessed and treated appropriately.
