At the recent sitting of the Athlone-Moate Municipal District, elected members heard that the local authority executive is in the process of liaising with ESB networks to get the power supply to the plume control box reconnected in the coming weeks to enable its operation prior to the end of the tourist season. The issue was raised courtesy of a question from Cllr Aengus O’Rourke.
