A new government scheme which will afford employees free vouchers to utilise remote working hubs within their locality has been formally launched this week.
The government unveiled plan increases measures to allow people to work in their local communities rather than commute to offices in bigger towns and cities.
At least 10,000 hot desk spaces will be provided under the scheme, which is aimed at both existing hub users, as well as those accessing hub facilities for the first time.
The government also announced €5 million in funding, through the Connected Hubs 2022 Call, which will be used to build capacity and enhance existing remote working facilities to support more hybrid working.
