It has been confirmed by the local authority executive that a ‘Bike for Hire’ scheme will pilot in Athlone.
On foot of a question posed by Cllr Frankie Keena, the Council executive stated that a tender process was recently completed and a contract awarded to Moby Bikes Ireland with a planned rolling out of the pilot scheme in April.
