The Dean Crowe Theatre’s Robin Hood-themed panto swings onto the stage next week with rescheduled shows to perform from Wednesday, March 2 to Sunday, March 6, inclusive.
Evening performances to commence at 7.30pm, will take place each night from Wednesday to Saturday and there will also be two matinee shows at 2pm on the Saturday and Sunday.
Pantomime Synopsis
Robbing from the rich to give to the poor, Robin Hood and his Merry Men will have you in stitches from start to finish. Packed full of wonderful music and dance, with a hilarious cast of larger than life characters, follow the adventures of the noble thief, Robin Hood as he woos the beautiful Maid Marian and thwarts the evil Sheriff of Nottingham. A great night out for the entire family, the Dean Crowe Theatre annual panto features a host of local talented adults and children.
Enthusiastic Cast and Crew
Directed by Kori Kilduff and choreographed by Claudia O’Sullivan, the pantomime cast features Richard Brown, Jorja Kilduff, Nicola O'Sullivan, Joe Steiner, Cian Mulhall, John McGlynn, Petrova Mulvey, Jonathan Kilduff, Hannah Dowling, Jamie O'Kane, Mike Keena, Joan Larkin, Edel Moriarty and Margaret Mulligan alongside almost 100 local children and young adults.
The panto was originally due to take place over two weekends in January but was postponed just after Christmas due to the rise in Covid-19 cases at the time.
“The entire cast and crew have worked extremely hard pouring their energy and creativity into this production for the last several months and now that magic – finally – will appear on our stage. We can’t wait. It’s a great night out for the entire family – oh yes it is," Theatre Manager, Killian Collins, said.
