To celebrate ten years on the local airwaves, Athlone Community Radio is inviting you to take part in their Christmas Variety Show!
Maybe you have a hidden talent waiting to be discovered - if so, record your masterly performance and participate in the festive event which will take place on December 14.
Intending participants can email [email protected] to receive detailed tips to help your video look and sound its best for its big debut. Video submissions must be received by Dec 1, be less than three minutes in length and recorded in landscape mode.
For the previous 10 years, Athlone Community Radio, a not-for-profit organisation has been a successful local project engaging with, and enriching the lives of listeners.
This pandemic has had a detrimental impact on many but the revelation of your talent will be a source of much entertainment and positivity as Athlone Community Radio endeavours to raise €10,000 towards costs for 2021.
The Variety Show concert will broadcast live on 88.4fm, and will also be accessible through the TuneIn Radio App, athlonecommunityradio.ie/listen-live/, Facebook Live at facebook.com/acr884, and other platforms TBC.
