A new chapter will unfold for Athlone Credit Union members on Monday, June 29, as a state-of-the-art branch located at Irishtown Central formally opens.
Speaking to the Athlone Advertiser this week, Athlone Credit Union CEO, Michael Evans, detailed his enthusiasm as the opening date of the new branch fast approaches.
“The opening of our new 2,500 square foot branch at Irishtown Central is a landmark occasion for our 20,000 members. We have listened attentively to their in-branch requirements and now look forward to providing them with a state-of-the-art branch in which to conduct their financial business,” Michael enthused.
The new facility will afford customers in-branch privacy with ample car parking provided within the vicinity.
“We want our members to feel comfortable when speaking with our employees regarding their finances and our new branch allows for such an occurrence. Car parking was a perennial issue at our Northgate Street branch but now we can provide ample spaces within the environs of our new location,” Michael added.
Encouraging members of the public to browse the new branch upon opening, Michael is hopeful that the enhanced financial facility will result in an increase in business.
“We are local personnel here to support local personnel and I look forward to a brighter and better future for Athlone Credit Union,” Michael concluded.
