With a strong ‘together’ message to the fore, Athlone Credit Union have donated PPE towards the ‘local heroes’ frontline medical staff COVID-19 cause.
Speaking with regard to the donation, Athlone Credit Union CEO, Michael Evans, noted that the contribution was a gesture towards the valiant work ongoing on the frontline as the COVID-19 pandemic persists.
“This donation is only a small contribution on behalf of board, members and staff of Athlone Credit Union,” Mr. Evans commented.
The CEO also afforded appreciation to all those involved with the donation contribution and lauded the continued efforts of all frontline personnel.
“A special thank you to Sergeant Connaughton and his team at Athlone Garda Station for kindly offering to distribute over 400 safeguard visors.
“Thank you for all you have done for our community, Family Carers, Primary Care Centre, South Westmeath Hospice, Solos Nursing Home, St. Vincent’s, Retreat Nursing Home, Stella Maris Nursing Home, Tearmainn Bhride Nursing Home, St Hilda’s Services, Clonbrusk Covid Hub & a special thank you to all our front line workers,” Mr. Evans continued.
Noting the continuing work ethos within Athlone Credit Union, the CEO encouraged customers to use the online facility where necessary.
