COVID-19 crisis results in cancellation of the Athlone Agri Show

The Athlone Agri-Show committee have taken the decision to cancel this year’s event in light of the current COVID-19 public health crisis.

“As a committee we have taken the decision to cancel this year’s Athlone Agri Show. We felt that we had no other option but to cancel the show, as the health and wellbeing of everyone is a priority in these unprecedented times. I wish to thank all of our sponsors, exhibitors, competitors, service providers, volunteers and visitors who have supported us and Athlone Agri Show in the past and we look forward to seeing you all again at our show day in June 2021.

“I also wish to acknowledge the hard work done by so many people, and thank Michael Donoghue for kindly having agreed to host this year’s show at his farm in Garnafailagh and hope that we will have a great day there next year,” Cllr. John Dolan, Athlone Agri-Show Charman, stated.
