Athlone IT AC Juvenile Club will host the sixth annual Westmeath County Juvenile indoors competition at the start of the art international sports arena venue on Friday.
With in excess of 300 young running enthusiasts aged 8 to 18 participating in the event last year, the popular athletics meeting continues to grow in popularity.
Young athletes from four Westmeath athletics clubs took part in the 2019 event including Athlone IT AC, East Westmeath AC, Mullingar Harriers and North Westmeath AC with the spectators in the Athlone IT International Arena witnessing lots of action throughout the occasion on the track and in the field.
Athlone IT AC Juvenile Club was founded in 2014 and has over 250 members, making it one of the largest juvenile clubs in the country.
