Karma nightclub Athlone is the venue in which to be tonight, Thursday, June 6, as the selection for Miss Westmeath 2019 takes centre stage.
Karma nightclub is the main sponsor for this year’s contest and look forward to supporting the chosen Miss Westmeath representative throughout her reigning year.
The winner of the Miss Westmeath contest will be signed to the Catwalk Models agency and receive sponsorship from Love My Hair salon as she prepares for the Miss Ireland pageant to be held towards the end of summer. The charity sponsor which Miss Galway will support throughout 2019/20 is the local Irish Cancer Society.
This year’s interview panel will comprise of Mandy Maher of Catwalk Models, Tina McEntegart of Love My Hair, former Miss Ireland contestant and Irish Dancing professional, Kelly McDonnell and the current Mr. Ireland, Wayne Walsh, all of whom are looking forward to being involved in the selection process and are looking forward to crowning the winner.
Miss Ireland is one of the World’s longest running beauty pageants, established in 1947 it has been the launch-pad for many well-known, successful and empowering women in Ireland. Those who have taken part in the event have found it helpful for their confidence building, interview and media skills and boosting their professional profile.
