One of Ireland’s best homegrown talents will take to the stage at Karma Athlone on Friday, December 21.
Hermitage Green are an Irish acoustic folk rock band. Formed in July 2010, they have earned a name for themselves in the Limerick music scene. Hermitage Green have spent the last couple of years touring and have sold out shows in Ireland, the UK, Middle East and Australia and have performed on the main stages of festivals worldwide, including Ireland’s Electric Picnic.
The band blend the narrative elements of bluegrass and traditional Irish music and their four part vocal harmony, give Hermitage Green a distinctive live sound, ensuring that they captivate audiences the around the world.
They also spent months in ‘Rockfield Studios’, where their new recordings share company with the likes of Queen, Robert Plant and many others, with Grammy winning producer Matt Lawrence (Adele, Amy Winehouse, Mumford & Sons ) at the production helm.
